Troubleshooting Connectivity Problems in VMware running on Fedora Core 5

/dev/vmnet0 problem - this has to do with not having connectivity in your virtual machine. It arises, at least in my case, from having multiple data ports built into my motherboard. If you read this page, at the very end, you'll notice that the last thing written, is that the person giving advice, is saying that the person with the problem, his machine, is probably using an ethernet port other than the one that VMServer is choosing. In other words, vmnet0 is bridged to the wrong eth0 or eht1 port. -- To solve this problem, click on vmware_connect.txt.
