marijuana has a stronger link to causing schizophrenia than
other drugs.”

were more likely to have a depressive disorder at age 26,
even after use of other drugs was controlled for.”
“The
results showed that 34.7% of first-episode schizophrenic
patients had a lifetime history of substance abuse.”

“I have a girlfriend who is Cherokee. And I was
sharing this with her; talking about this. And I said, you
know, something’s really bugging me about this whole thing.
Like what is it about anesthesia, and what is it about
smoking pot that seems to be leading people to become
schizophrenic? And you know what she said to me? She said,
listen, we’ve got, within my culture, within generations, of
medicine men… They perform ceremonies that are mind
altering; with mind altering drugs. But she said that the
Cherokee medicine men, and the elders, are absolutely
dumbfounded, in amazement, that we, regular, modern citizens
of today’s culture would ever think of consuming a mind
altering drug, that removes you from your body, without the
protection of a shaman. I said, what do you mean? And she
said, well, because, when you leave your body, under the
influence of these various substances, which they consider
spiritual, in her faith; when you leave your body, in her
faith; when you leave your body, other things will come and
occupy it; unless someone is observing and monitoring and
protecting you.”
“I’m fully convinced now, after speaking to hundreds of
schizophrenics, that schizophrenia is literally demon
possession. I’m absolutely convinced of it. I mean, these
people hear voices and they speak to them. And they are
literally other entities other than themselves.”
