Western Washington Coastal Area

 

nps.gov/olym is an easy to use and smaller version of the much larger Olympic National Park page. This is the park system and mountain range on the west side of Seattle between Puget Sound and the Ocean in the northern part of the state. On the coast (of Washington state) below the, above (and of course in many other parts of the state) national forrest you will find the Washington State Parks.  

Seattle Area

Washington State Parks: Washington State Accessible Outdoor Recreation Guide - North Puget Sound Region has one map with links to information and directions to all of the state parks near Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, Issaquah and other areas in the Puget Sound. Closer to Seattle you will find the King County Park system of which Cougar Mountain trails is a part. Another, close to Seattle, park is Lake Sammamish State Park trail.
