As predicted in 755 AD, on the Dresde Codex (1 part of the 4 Maya Codices), by the Mayan's, "cosmic awareness," brought about through encounters with masters of the stars, begins with The Most Documented UFO Sighting in History, and many others, "during the transition into the era of the Sixth Sun, and continues today." This occurred on July 11, 1991 in Mexico City and was videotaped by 17 different, unrelated, witnesses. This page attempts to tie together many divergent phenomena including crop circles, earthquakes, mankind's consciousness and much more. It's not a good page about the Mexican sightings; but does attempt to put the whole phenomena in a greater context, regardless of how nebulous it may be.

Mexican Skies Full Of UFOs (rense.com) goes into the actual details of these predicted events, including the eclipse that brought out all the videographers who taped the craft that day. It quotes one, and names two, of the videographers who were lucky enough to videotape the momentous encounter. It speaks of the Aztec prophecies of "the sons of the Sixth Sun" being "the first to journey to new worlds in the stars."

It tells of the second wave, in the spring of 1992, where one unsuspected videographer "Miguel Larios Cruz, Commander of the Judicial Police of the State of Puebla." looking to tape a narcotic cargo plane gets something else instead. It explains that nobody understood why the OVNIs, as they call them there, had changed location from Mexico City to the foot of Mount Popocatepetl, until. a UFO investigating team, set up to record their return discovers that the mountain is an active volcano. It tells of an incident, in May of 1992, where a "journalist Junichi Yaoi and his crew from Nippon Television," on a small knoll known as Casita Blana, joined by over one hundred local residents, witness, and record, a "brilliant, lumbering, triangular-shaped object."

It tells of a six hour appearance over Mexico City, the third wave, that began on 1/1/93, literally bringing the world's largest city to a standstill, causing Mexico to put its air force on alert and stopped traffic on its busiest thoroughfares; yet is totally ignored by other media around the world.

And it tells of the fourth wave where the UFOs began having very close encounters with airliners coming and going from Mexico city.
